The 7th March Speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, also known as the "Historic Speech", is one of the most important and influential speeches in the history of Bangladesh. In this speech, delivered in 1971 at the Ramna Race Course in Dhaka, Bangabandhu called on the people of East Pakistan to rise up against the oppression and exploitation of West Pakistan and to demand their rightful place in the political and economic life of the country.
