Ekjon Telapoka (একজন তেলাপোকা) Review and Spoilers - IMDb
'Ekjon Telapoka' (Light Spoiler)
The short film 'Ekjan Telapoka' made under the banner of Manapchitra has been released in Charki today. The short film is directed by Golam Muntakim.
Last Eid-ul-Azha, Manoj Pramanik, and his students created a series called 'Sat Dugune Chaudd'. There were 14 short films in that series, one of which was directed by Golam Muntakim. The name of the short film was 'Kaua'. It was a good job.
A cockroach after a crow. The story of 'A Cockroach' is a bit like that of Aslam, a rickshaw puller who lost his rickshaw in an accident. The owner of the rickshaw fired him because of this loss. Unemployed and aimless Aslam suddenly picked up one thing. After receiving the thing, Aslam decides to take revenge on those who have done wrong to him. He recorded the names in a notebook and made a note. The beginning was good for him but the end was full of excitement. It remains to be seen what happens in the end.
Manoj's power was in the 36-minute long short film. There was a rap song in the background with which Manoj's gestures matched quite well. Shatabdi Wadud has merged with the character here as always. Nasir Uddin Khan and Tasnuva Tisha have done well as their screentime. One thing I liked was that an old Bengali movie was playing in the tea shop. The scene that was going on there became quite important for the character of Aslam. You can understand why it happened by looking at the work.
A fairly good short film was seen on the wheel. Apart from Manoj Pramanik, Shatabdi Wadud, Tasnuva Tisha, Zaheer Karim, Nasir Uddin Khan, SM Tushar, Humaira Snigdha, Ahsabul Yamin Riyad, Munsif Uz Zaman and many others were also present in the short film.
