The Incredible SAMSUNG GALAXY A82 is Finally coming | Launched in April - New Mobile News
Best Review:
The galaxy a82 is suddenly causing a lot of
the excitement in the market as it appears it is
coming very soon its predecessor launched in April
2019 and then it released the following May while
we didn't see a successor last year the wait may
finally, be over for those who missed the original
a80 it was a bit more of an adventurous phone
from Samsung that not only had a motorized pop-out
camera but it also had one that flipped when the
the user wanted to take a selfie the pop-up camera
would raise and then the rear camera flips to the
the front which means that we get the same quality
photo and video from the normal shots as well as
the selfies it was a well thought out design that
was popular and successful while we didn't get
an a81 it looks like we're now getting the a82
now some mobile have discovered the first
geekbench listing of the Samsung galaxy a82
which confirms some key specs as well as the
performance the benchmark list the model number
sm826s and this variant comes packed with
six gigs of ram now the a82 is most likely
gonna only come in one variant which according to
this benchmark is gonna be six gigabytes of ram
and probably 128 storage you may think that's
strange considering its predecessor had eight
but to be honest six is plenty and it
will help towards the cost reductions
now the benchmark also shows that the galaxy a82
is powered by Qualcomm's flagship chipset but it's
not this year's chipset the galaxy a82 is powered
by the snapdragon 855 which is a sensible choice
given that it still provides capable performance
but it's going to reduce the cost of the handset
it's going to be 5g compatible and given that
it's running Android 11. we can assume that the
a82 is gonna ship with one UI 3.1 the galaxy a82
scores 757 in single-core and 2630 in multi-core
performance of the geekbench 5 listings but
as always these numbers should improve with
optimization it's also important to note that
there is always the possibility that this could
be fake although it does look like what we would
expect to see from the a82 when it comes to the
design of the galaxy 82 of course the benchmark
doesn't tell us anything in terms of design
and not even the camera specs the galaxy a range
is always interesting to see as Samsung tend to
be a lot more experimental with their design and
of course, they keep them aimed at the mid-range
price brackets the a80 was a breakthrough in
camera design and it offered something new to the
market but there's still a lot of disagreements
when it comes to the a82 now many think that it's
not going to be the same design as the predecessor
but personally, I disagree the a82 is an improved
the version of the predecessor so I think it's very
likely it's either going to use the same design
or a similar but an improved one if that wasn't
going to be the case then they may as well have
refreshed another device and not the a82 we could
even see the same shell but with updated hardware
including cameras and this would make it suitable
for current times now given that its predecessor
launched in April it's also very likely that we
could see the galaxy a82 in April this year but
it could even be earlier as Samsung have brought
a lot of launches forward, of course, the design
leaks are light on the ground at the moment but
I'm now going to run through the expected specs
design and the pricing of the galaxy a82 to help
you guys decide if this is the phone for you now
it's important to note that while some of the
information is based on leaks a lot of it also
has been estimated but with the Samsung galaxy
a82 we're likely to see a refreshed version of
the predecessor when it comes to the display
we can expect a 6.7 to 6.8-inch AMOLED display
and given that it's part of the range we can
expect this to be a 90 or even 120-hertz display
and it will be a full HD plus resolution the
aspect ratio is no doubt going to be 20 by nine
and there will also be an in-display fingerprint
scanner there are still plenty of conflicting
details on the design but I personally think
we're not going to get a selfie camera on the a82
and it's going to be the same camera for the rear
as well as the front we're unsure if this is going
to be the same mechanism as the predecessor or
if it's going to be a new and improved version
but I think that it's likely going to be the case
otherwise, there was no point in refreshing this
range of course camera details haven't been leaked
yet but considering it is part of the range
I would expect a 64-megapixel main sensor a 12
megapixel ultra-wide and a 3d timer flight sensor
the phone's going to be powered by the snapdragon
855 which is a couple of years old but still a
capable chipset and as we know from the benchmark
we get six gigs of ram and probably 128 storage
there could also be a higher variant but judging
by the previous releases than I expect there's
only going to be one choice now we'll likely see
an increase in battery capacity while this is just
an estimate I expect 4 000 milliamp hours and if
we look at the rest of the range it's likely
going to have 25-watt fast charging it will
of course, have BlueTooth 5 and the in-display
fingerprint scanner and it's going to ship with
one UI 3.1 based on Android 11. when it comes to
the launch price we're expecting it to be around
750 in the USA and that's about 580 for the UK
of course, its predecessor was showcased in many
events didn't see such a wide launch and it was
only available in certain markets.
