Milky Way | Top Science News this Week
The Milky-Way galaxy is the blessed one as homo sapiens live in one of its planets. Moreover, some exoplanets or earth-like planets are there too inside of this galaxy where human-like species may exist. As humans are supported by the earth's environment, therefore, in exoplanets these may exist too. This huge galaxy itself engulfs many mysteries that are not understood properly yet.
A huge supermassive blackhole exists just at the very center of this known but still unknown galaxy which is most probably not uncommon to the laws of other galaxies. The huge supermassive blackhole somehow evolves the galaxy and this system is not clarified yet by the astrophysicists. Maybe we can know it in the near future.
On the other hand, the Milky-Way galaxy is cannibalistic in behavior which means, it eats up other small or dwarf galaxies and increases its mass and size. There are plenty of small galaxies rotating the outskirts of the Milky-Way galaxy i.e. satellites. In the future, Andromeda Galaxy is going to collide with us too. This happens due to the high tidal attraction.
Our sun rotates around the star in the very center of the galaxy which is so huge that a complete rotation takes millions of years including some dangerous space accidents i.e. meteorites collusion.
Overall, the Milky-Way galaxy is somehow so beautiful that its mystery seems the very part of its own prettiness.
