Shakib Al Hasan's requesting for paternity leave has been recognized by the Bangladesh Cricket Board, allowing the master allrounder to skirt the gathering's approaching visit through New Zealand.
Shakib had applied for leave and mentioned the BCB to not consider him for the white-ball task in New Zealand one month from now, involving three ODIs and as a huge number, since he needed to be by his better half's side for the introduction of his third kid.
"We have allowed him to leave during the New Zealand visit," said BCB cricket activity executive Akram Khan on Thursday (February 11).
Shakib, who supported a thigh strain in the initial Test against West Indies, is right now sitting out of the second Test of the arrangement, in Dhaka.
Following the constrained changes in the schedule because of COVID-19 related difficulties, Bangladesh will currently leave for New Zealand on February 24. The three ODIs will be played on March 20, 23, and 26 in Dunedin, Christchurch, and Wellington separately, while the T20Is will be hung on March 28, 30, and April 1 in Hamilton, Napier, and Auckland individually.
