Neymar surpassed Ronaldo and moved into second spot behind Pele on Brazil's unequaled goalscoring list in the wake of scoring a cap stunt in a 4-2 triumph over Peru on Tuesday in a World Cup qualifier.
The Paris St Germain striker currently has 64 objectives, two more than Ronaldo and 13 behind Pele, who heads the rundown with 77, as indicated by the tally by world overseeing body FIFA.
Brazil mentor Tite was hesitant to contrast his present star and past greats.
"It's out of line making correlations," he said.
"What I can say is Neymar has this unconventionality. He is the bow and the bolt, he's a player who the two makes and takes risks. Furthermore, he improves and better, and more develop."
On Tuesday, Neymar equalled and afterward outperformed Ronaldo with two punishments either side of halftime before snatching No. 64 in injury time at Lima's National arena.
The 28-year old celebrated by holding up the number nine with his hands in what had all the earmarks of being a recognition for Ronaldo, the previous Barcelona, Real Madrid and Corinthians striker.
Neymar, who made his Brazil debut in 2010, scored his 64 objectives in 103 games.
